Darren was a past chairman of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Victorian Chapter. He has lectured both for the APA, LaTrobe, and the University of Melbourne as a guest lecturer. Darren is on the Physiotherapy Business Victoria committee of the APA. He has been an accredited level 1 triathlon and level 1 basketball coach. Darren is one of the clinical team for the Ringwood Hawks NBL1 Mens and Womens teams.
